Having tried unsuccessfully to re-enter the IP address 10.0.1.134 (still times out), maybe enter something like 10.1.2.IPP printing on certain older models of HP printers does not function reliably. My question is how to assign permanent IP address to HP 8210 as with the HP2055dn.Īddressing the 8210 from Safari returns:Ĩ210 times out after 15 minutes - ‘try again’ in Wired (802.3) reconnected to IP address 1.0.1.134 until next timeout. 2 Macs are macOS Sierra 10.12.5 I also have HP LaserJet P2055dn on same network with IP address (?) that is always powered on and available on the local network. Daily Powerup/Powerdown is usual (not always) in our office.Ĩ210 is Cat-5 connected to Apple Airport. I have HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 which does not maintain IP address 10.0.1.134 - this IP address is assigned at printer powerup. Sorry about the many words, but this problem has vexed me for many weeks.
